The Superior Court of the Judicial Branch of Arizona in Maricopa County is seeking an official Court Reporter to provide verbatim reporting of court proceedings and prepare accurate transcripts per ARS Title 32, Chapter 40. An official Court Reporter provides verbatim reporting of court proceedings. The Court Reporter must prepare accurate and timely transcripts pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes A.R.S. Title 32, Chapter 40. Court Reporters can be assigned to any of the five court locations throughout Maricopa County and work in any court department, including but not limited to grand jury, criminal, civil, family, juvenile, probate/mental health, and administrative hearings.
The Judicial Branch provides reimbursement for employees’ professional licence/certification costs required to qualify for and maintain employment, or to legally perform their job. The reimbursement applies to costs associated with the maintenance of the required license/certification, not the initial costs to become licensed/certified.

Courtroom environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to communicate clearly, perceive details of objects that are close by, and maintain various physical positions for extended periods, such as sitting, standing, or walking. The job may involve using hands for tasks such as typing, handling objects, or operating tools, as well as reaching with hands and arms.
