Job summary

The City of Bozeman is seeking a Security Services Officer to safeguard the Municipal Court, Bozeman Public Safety Center, and community. You will help maintain a welcoming and secure environment while serving the public with professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Some prior law enforcement or security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide security for the Municipal Court, including personnel, jurors, and witnesses; manage courtroom access and safety.
• Monitor the Bozeman Public Safety Center and surrounding facilities; deter crime and assist the public as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents; provide first aid and coordinate with other responders.
• Maintain records and prepare reports; ensure proper handling of equipment and weapons as assigned.
