Bozeman Police Department is seeking a Security Services Officer to safeguard the Municipal Court, Bozeman Public Safety Center, and community. The role includes maintaining a visible security presence, controlling access, and assisting during court hearings to ensure safety and order.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, at least basic customer service experience, and the ability to pass background checks. A valid Montana driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age and a U.S. Citizen.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Some customer service experience preferred; law enforcement or security background is a plus.
• Ability to pass background checks and maintain safety procedures.

Responsabilités

• Provides security for Municipal Court, Public Safety Center, and related facilities.
• Monitors access points, conducts inspections, and deters crime.
• Responds to emergencies, provides assistance, and coordinates with officers.
• Maintains records, prepares reports, and supports court operations.
• Operates tools and equipment as needed and follows safety protocols.
