Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field required.
• Two years of social work experience required.
• Must be computer literate and knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures.

Responsibilities

• Address and assess need for competency and intervention
• Develop and maintain client case records, plans, and reports
• Conduct mitigation; interviews clients and families, reviews records, prepares written reports for sentencing
• Refer clients to services and placement as appropriate
• Work with outside agencies to coordinate and facilitate placement options for agency clients
• Attend and testify at court proceedings and participate in planning and education
