Job summary

Frederick County Government is seeking a video producer to create compelling content for public communications and official events. The role supports media activities, prepares digital materials, and maintains organized media files for internal and external audiences.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners, coordinate AV logistics, and contribute to consistent messaging across channels.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of work experience in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
Substitutions for education: Associate’s Degree with 6 years experience or Master’s with 2 years experience.

Responsibilities

Produce video content in multiple formats to support organizational communication, outreach, and official events
Coordinate general media production activities to support internal and external messaging needs
Prepare visual and digital materials that support routine communication and public information efforts
Maintain organized media files and related documentation in designated systems
Support planning and logistics for events requiring audiovisual or recording services
Collaborate with internal staff and external partners to ensure consistent communication standards
Assist with general communication tasks that contribute to public engagement and organizational visibility
Prepare digital exhibits for use at trial
Perform other related duties as required
