Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of related experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid State of Georgia Driver's License.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains judge's monthly and daily itinerary, schedules hearings, motions and trials.
  • Sets schedule and publishes court calendar.
  • Develops, monitors and evaluates department budget.
  • Prepares payroll and expense reports, budget amendments and vendor orders and vouchers.
  • Acts as liaison between the judge, elected officials, department heads, county officials, attorneys, litigants, staff and general public.
  • Arranges conferences and makes travel arrangements; prepares correspondence, memos and other documents.
  • Performs clerical support as directed by the Judge.
  • Assist law clerk/staff attorney as needed.
  • Assist Judge in coordination/execution of judicial leadership activities; assist TPO Clerk with preparation of TPO paperwork and court as needed.
  • Assist with docket management.
