Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction seeks a Judicial Services Coordinator to work with the judiciary, community agencies, victims, and offenders. The role represents the agency in court and in the community, maintaining public awareness of the Community Service Work Program.

The JSC handles intake of probation cases, reviews judgments, and matches offender skills to community needs. Travel within the district may be required as part of court intake duties.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Structured Sentencing and its application to Community Supervision.
• Familiarity with Community Service Work Program guidelines and processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Judiciary, offenders, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Handle intake of new probation cases and monitor assigned caseload.
• Review court judgments and align offenders’ skills with needs.
• Coordinate with courts, agencies, and community partners; maintain case files and reports.
