Job summary

Curry County, NM is seeking a Court Compliance Officer (CCO) to monitor misdemeanor defendants for probation compliance under supervision of the Misdemeanor Compliance Program Supervisor and Community Programs Manager - DWI. Qualifications

• Associate degree and two years of experience in judiciary, criminal justice, counseling, or human services.
• No felony conviction or crimes involving moral turpitude.
• Ability to pass a rigid background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise defendants' compliance with probation conditions.
• Encourage and motivate defendants to comply with sentences.
• Provide periodic compliance reports to courts and DA's office.
