Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• 2 years of job related experience within a legal system is preferred.
• Good computer and typing skills (minimum 35 WPM).
• Excellent research and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and written skills.
• Ability to interact with the public, employees and elected officials.

Responsibilities

• Manages, monitors, and schedules civil and criminal cases.
• Inputs complaints, tickets, and petitions into the Court’s database.
• Creates and updates case files electronically.
• Schedules arraignments, mediations, hearings, and trials on the Court’s calendar.
• Collects and receipts filing fees and fines.
• Issues writs and arrest warrants as needed.
• Maintains confidentiality and security of documents and proceedings.
• Assists with training and participates in community outreach.
