Job summary

Massachusetts Trial Court invites applications for Case Administrator I – Worcester County Juvenile Court. The role supervises staff, assigns and reviews work, and ensures efficient daily operations of the unit, including docket processing, appeals, and e-filing where applicable.

Attention to accuracy, data quality, and customer service is essential. Starting pay is at the entry level rate per the collective bargaining agreement with OPEIU Local 6.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; five years related work experience preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• This is a union position; starting pay at entry level per the collective bargaining agreement/MOA with OPEIU, Local 6.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff and assigns and reviews work.
• Maintains accuracy and completeness of cases and records.
• Schedules hearings, pulls cases for hearings, and ensures dockets are accurate.
• Responds to and resolves issues that arise from the public, attorneys, and agencies pertaining to civil procedures.
• Processes billings and maintains financial records; prepares expenditure reports.
• Serves as a liaison between the unit and other offices and outside agencies to resolve operational issues.
• Provides customer service to attorneys, litigants, law enforcement personnel, and the public; serves as a point of contact for information concerning cases processed.
• Supervises the collection and reporting of statistics concerning cases processed.
• Trains staff in the use of automated systems, case management software, and other applicable tools.
• Performs other duties as required.
