Job summary

Catalyst Community seeks a dedicated teacher to provide drop-in child care for court-site families, ages 2.5 to 16 depending on county. You will create inclusive learning environments, implement adaptive teaching strategies, and maintain clear communication with families and staff.

Applicants should have HS Diploma or GED, 1–2 years’ experience with children, and strong customer service skills. Proficiency in addressing diverse backgrounds is valued.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1–2 years’ experience working with children.
• Experience working with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and quality learning experiences for children of multiple ages in the same setting.
• Create inclusive learning environments for children with special needs.
• Learn and implement adaptive methods and strategies for all children.
• Plan and prepare materials/curriculum for quality early learning experiences.
• Maintain attendance records and family files as needed.
• Communicate with program staff and families to coordinate care.
