Job Duties:

1. Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages.
2. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards.
3. Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
4. Performs related customer service functions.
5. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education: High school diploma/GED.

Minimum Experience: Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate area knowledge.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages of any weight with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred.
• Skills in adaptability, dependability, and courier methods.

Job Conditions:

• Neat appearance required due to customer contact.
• Must meet federal motor carrier safety regulations and obtain/maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Requires medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations.
• Ability to work alertly and safely.

Additional Details:

• Schedule: Monday to Saturday, with shifts from 0630-1500, 0830-1800, or 1330-2230 (off days TBD).
