Job Title: Courier

Job Duties

1. Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages efficiently and courteously.
2. Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards.
3. Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
4. Perform related customer service functions.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six (6) months courier experience preferred.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the service area.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages of any weight with appropriate equipment and assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred.
• Skills in adaptability, dependability, and courier methods.

Job Conditions

• Neat appearance required due to customer contact.
• Must meet qualifications outlined in FMCSA or FAA regulations, including medical exams.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
