Job Duties

1. Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages efficiently and courteously.
2. Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards.
3. Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
4. Perform related customer service functions.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma or GED.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate knowledge of the service area.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages of any weight with appropriate equipment or assistance. Good communication and human relations skills. Knowledge of the station's service area is preferred. Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and courier skills.

Job Conditions

Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet qualifications outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations, including a medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required, in accordance with state requirements and company policies. Ability to work alert and safely at all times.
