A leading company is seeking a dedicated courier to operate vehicles for package delivery and pick-up. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and at least six months of courier experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to lift heavy packages are essential. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage and variable work schedule.
Job Duties
Minimum Education
High school diploma/GED.
Minimum Experience
Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must be able to demonstrate area knowledge.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred. Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods.
Job Conditions
Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet and maintain the qualifications as outlined in the federal motor carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Please refer to policy 4-48 for specific job requirements for operating a company vehicle. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license as per state requirements and have a good driving record. This is a non-covered safety sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Preferred Qualifications: Several positions available.
Pay Transparency: $21.36 an hour minimum.
Work Schedule: FT Mon-Sun with variable days off.
