This role involves operating company vehicles to ensure efficient delivery and pickup of packages, while providing excellent customer service. Job Duties
High school diploma/GED.
Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must be able to demonstrate area knowledge.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the station's service area preferred. Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and courier methods.
Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet qualifications outlined in the federal motor carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Specific requirements for vehicle operation are detailed in policy 4-48. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license and have a good driving record. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safety compliance.
Full-time, Monday-Saturday, hours vary: 0600-1500 / 1200-2102.
