We are seeking applicants for the position of Courier/Swing Driver/DOT-1 at Federal Express Corporation. The role involves operating company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages efficiently and courteously within designated routes. The courier will also check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards and perform related customer service functions. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Minimum Education

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum Experience

Preferred candidates will have at least six (6) months of courier experience and demonstrate knowledge of the service area's geography.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the station's service area is preferred.
• Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods.

Job Conditions

Must maintain a neat appearance due to customer contact. Must meet and maintain qualifications outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations, including a medical exam as per FMCSA or FAA regulations. A valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required. The position is safety-sensitive, requiring alertness and safe operation at all times.
