Job Duties

1. Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages efficiently and courteously.
2. Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards.
3. Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
4. Perform related customer service functions.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma or GED.

Minimum Experience

Preferred: Six (6) months courier experience. Must demonstrate knowledge of the service area's geography.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages of any weight with appropriate equipment or assistance. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the station's service area is preferred. Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier techniques.

Job Conditions

Maintain a neat appearance due to customer contact. Must meet federal motor carrier safety regulations and pass a medical exam as per FMCSA or FAA regulations. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required, in accordance with state laws and company policies. Ability to remain alert and work safely at all times.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay: $22.43/hr (range: $22.43 - $34.15)
