Job description

Position is for FT swing. Monday - Friday with Saturday and Sunday Off. Shift is approximately 8am - 9pm and could change depending on operational needs.

Job Duties

1. Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages courteously and efficiently.
2. Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards.
3. Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
4. Perform related customer service functions.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate knowledge of the service area.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages of any weight with appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred.
• Skills in adaptability, dependability, and courier methods.

Job Conditions

Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet qualifications outlined in FMCSA or FAA regulations, including medical exams. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required. Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
