Job Duties

1. Operate company vehicles and provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages.
2. Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service.
3. Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
4. Perform related customer service functions.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate area knowledge.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred.
• Skills in adaptability, dependability, and courier methods.

Job Conditions

Neat appearance required. Must meet FMCSA or FAA medical and licensing requirements. Maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Ability to work alertly and safely.

Preferred Qualifications
