Job Duties

1. Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages efficiently and courteously.
2. Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards.
3. Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
4. Perform related customer service functions.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma or GED.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate knowledge of the service area.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. or maneuver packages of any weight with appropriate equipment or assistance. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the station's service area preferred. Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and courier skills.

Job Conditions

Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet qualifications outlined in FMCSA or FAA regulations, including medical exams. Valid driver's license and good driving record required, in accordance with state requirements and company policies. Must work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
