Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Courier to support the Atlantic Health System, ensuring timely delivery of packages and maintaining professional appearance. The role requires a valid NJ driver’s license, ability to lift 75 lbs, and willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed.

You will be responsible for keeping courier run sheets updated, recording signatures, and following all policies. CPR/First Aid certification must be obtained within 4 months of hire.

• Familiarity with iPhone and basic technology.

Atlantic Mobile Health, Courier Position

Job Function: Ensure day‑to‑day courier services for Atlantic Health System are completed in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a flexible schedule and be available for overtime, special events, and holidays as needed by the department.
• Complete tasks and assignments in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain updated current courier run sheets monthly for shifts.
• Wear full uniform, visible ID badge, and key peg; maintain a professional appearance.
• Keep vehicles clean inside and out daily.
• Complete rig check sheets and turn them in daily.
• Swipe in and out on time.
• Arrive on time for routine scheduled courier stops.
• Obtain receiving signatures for all boxes and packages.
• Adhere to all Atlantic Health System and Atlantic Ambulance Policy and Procedures.
• Complete all required training and maintain all required certifications and licenses.
• Be familiar with the use of an iPhone and basic technology.
• Contribute to a team environment.
• Attend at least 50% of all transportation staff meetings.

Qualifications

• Valid NJ Driver’s License (CDL optional) – Free of restrictions.
• Able to lift and pull at least 75 lbs.
• Obtain CPR/First Aid Certification within 4 months of hire date.
• Excellent customer service skills.
