Job summary

Memorial Hospital in Marysville, OH is seeking a dependable courier/driver to operate patient-related transport and delivery services between hospital sites. You will pick up and deliver lab specimens, mail, and dietary items while maintaining the vehicle’s cleanliness and reporting maintenance needs promptly.

The role requires a valid Ohio driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent, and a Monday–Friday shift.

Description

What You'll Do:

• Operates vehicle and related equipment to pick up and deliver lab specimens, mail, dietary food, and other items for satellite locations. Communicates to maintenance when scheduled or other identified maintenance is necessary.
• Maintains valid Ohio driver’s license. Maintains appearance of vehicle cleaning interior and exterior and fuels vehicle. Exhibits behaviors reflective of Memorial’s core values: Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence, and Service.

Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance. Attends all mandatory education and in-services (i.e., team training, safety, infection control, etc.); completes mandatory health requirements. Employee performs within the prescribed limits of the hospital’s and department’s Ethics and Compliance program and is responsible to detect, observe and report compliance variances to their immediate supervisor, or upward through the chain of command, the Compliance Officer, or the hospital hotline.

Completion of high school education or equivalent.
