A leading healthcare service provider is seeking a Courier for safe transport of documents, medical supplies, and biohazards across all facilities in San Antonio. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and a minimum of 3 years driving experience, ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures. Performs quality, safe, secure, and timely services associated with, but not limited to the receipt, transport and delivery of documents, materials, medications, supplies, medical records, x-rays and biohazards for all divisions, facilities and laboratories as required by the scheduled routes. Operates the BHS vehicle in compliance with all Texas and department’s safety policies and procedures. Uses critical judgment in the movement of materials to ensure the safety of products being transported. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate or Equivalent
PREFERRED EDUCATION: NA
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3 years of driving experience with no driving infractions. Basic knowledge of the San Antonio and suburban areas.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 1 year in Route Transportation Experience. Trained in OSHA and HIPAA and Spill Knowledge
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Current Class C Drivers License
