The Courier role involves pick-up and delivery of water, soil, and air samples to/from the lab, maintaining quality and turnaround times, preparing and delivering orders, managing supplies, performing sampling, and disposing of samples and hazardous waste according to guidelines. Additional duties are assigned by the department manager.

Position details: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 11 am - 7 pm, with overtime during busy season until December. May involve long-distance driving. Applicants near Edison, NJ are encouraged to apply. Compensation is $16.50/hour plus full benefits.

Courier responsibilities include:

• Following SOPs for couriers
• Sample pick-up/delivery, sign-in, and analysis reporting
• Checking samples for damage, verifying chain of custody
• Transporting samples on ice, inspecting for damage
• Interacting professionally with clients and project managers
• Using maps for directions, recording courier logs
• Vehicle maintenance records, restocking supplies
• Verifying sample orders, ensuring compliance with safety policies
• Maintaining a safe work environment, preparing shipments, performing sampling, disposing of samples, maintaining vehicle, labeling samples, and other duties as assigned.
