Job summary

Virtua in Camden, NJ is seeking a Delivery Driver for Care at Home programs. You will deliver and pick up patient care items, update the courier log, and maintain a clean driving record in line with New Jersey laws.

You must supply your own vehicle, keep it in good condition, and participate in equipment reprocessing per infection control policies. You will coordinate routes with the care team, report delays, and uphold HIPAA and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Transports materials throughout designated areas in a safe and timely manner.

Maintains a clean driving record and follows all New Jersey driving laws. Responsible for reprocessing all returned equipment.

Position Responsibilities

Delivery and pick up patient care items for Care at Home programs. Updates the courier log to ensure all proper records are accurately documented and maintained.

Drives Vehicle Safely at all times, maintaining a clean driving record.

Coordinates with care team to create the best possible schedules and route for meeting department objectives. Communicates any potential delays with care team and patients.

Must supply own vehicle. Maintains a clean vehicle and inspects their vehicle daily to ensure that the vehicle is in proper working order.

Reprocessing equipment to ensure all infection control policies around cleaning, disinfection, and supply equipment management are followed. Trouble shoots issues with malfunctioning equipment to minimize downtime.

Adheres to policies and procedure of the organization including HIPPA, infection prevention standards.

Position Qualifications Required
