Job summary

FedEx in Flagstaff, AZ is seeking a delivery driver to operate company vehicles and ensure timely delivery and pickup of packages. You will verify shipments meet service standards and coordinate loading/unloading with feeder aircraft operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid license for the assigned vehicle. The position is full-time with a Mon-Fri schedule and standard FedEx benefits.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to successfully complete basic and/or recurrent training/testing. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Effectively communicate verbally in a time sensitive manner in noisy operations environment. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job Conditions

Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Drives vehicles not regulated by section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Preferred Qualifications

Must be 21 years old and have a driver's license for the past three years.
