Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Courier/Driver for the 1st shift. This full-time role involves documenting, packaging and transporting samples, ensuring quality control and adhering to safety policies.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, English proficiency and the ability to drive long distances. Hours may vary with routes and traffic, and occasional late shifts can occur.

Qualifications

• Basic Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license to drive delivery vehicles required.
• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and use a Smartphone.
• Willing and able to drive long distances (4+ hours).
• Professional working proficiency in English (read, write, speak).
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Document, package and transport samples per plan/protocols.
• Quality control of all assignments and completion of documents.
• Follow health and safety policies and company guidance.
• Follow technical instructions and guidance provided.
• May assist with data collection and routine sampling as needed.
• Long distance driving with 1–5 stops; 250–300 miles/day possible.

• Compensation: up to USD 17.75 - hourly

Courier responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Documenting, packagingand transportingsamples in accordance with appropriate project-specific sampling and analysis plans/protocols
• Responsible for quality control of all assignments and completing documents
• Followingand enforcing company health and safety policies.
• Must be able to follow technical instructions and guidance.
• May assist with data collection and routine sampling, as needed
• Long distance driving
  • Candidates in this role may be asked todrive as far as NorthNew Jersey, Pittsburg, etc.,anda maximum of 250-300 miles per day, round trip
    • Route could consist of anywhere from 1-5 stops
    • May be asked to drive to other locations as needed based on business needs
• Additional duties as assigned

Role is full-time, M-F, 8am-5pm as the basic hours for the role. But hours may vary, due to routes and traffic, and could be extended as late as 6pm-8pm on occasion. Candidates who have some flexibility in regards to potentially shifting schedules and hours would be ideal for this position.

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Ability to follow GPS directions
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Requirements:

Pay range:$17.75
