Job Duties

1. Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages efficiently and courteously.
2. Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards.
3. Provide related customer service functions.
4. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have or obtain a Class B license with Hazmat endorsements within 60 days of employment.
• Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM; hours may vary based on operational needs.

Minimum Education

High school diploma or GED. Must be licensed for the vehicle type assigned.

Minimum Experience

None required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.

Job Conditions

• Neat appearance required for customer contact.
• Must meet qualifications as per federal motor carrier safety regulations (Section 391) and company policies.
• FMCSA safety-sensitive position; medical exam and drug testing required.
• Ability to work alertly and safely at all times.

Preferred Qualifications

• Applicants must be 21+ years old, with a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years without suspensions or gaps.

Pay and Benefits

• Salary range: $23.26 - $34.55 per hour.
• Includes health, vision, dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

• Full-time, 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM; Class B license required within 60 days of starting.
