Job summary

A leading logistics company is seeking a reliable Courier Delivery Driver to ensure efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. The successful candidate will operate company vehicles, maintain customer service standards, and comply with safety regulations. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage with a shift from Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.
• Must meet qualifications of Federal Motor Carrier regulations.
• Medical exam required as per FMCSA or FAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages.
• Checks shipments for conformance to service features.
• Performs other assigned duties.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
