Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a part-time Driver / operator of company vehicles in Yamato, FL to deliver and pick up packages with courteous service. You will check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and perform related customer service functions.

Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED. You must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned, and be 21+ with the ability to lift 50 lbs and read/speak English sufficiently for traffic and safety communications.

PT PM Hours Monday through Friday 15:30-20:30

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
