Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a driver/operator to deliver and pick up packages, ensuring courteous, efficient service. You will verify shipments meet FedEx standards and perform related customer service tasks.

Must have a high school diploma or GED, and be licensed for the vehicle type. A medical exam is required and you must be able to read and communicate in English. Scheduling is Monday through Friday, with a starting wage of $24.21 per hour.

• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards; provide related customer service.
• Maintain neat appearance due to customer contact; follow safety guidelines and procedures.

Job description

Driver / operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.

Monday-Friday 0630-1600

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Pay Transparency

Pay: Starting Wage is $24.21 / hour

Additional Details: Monday-Friday 6:30am till 4:30pm
