Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a part-time Driver/Operator in Ann Arbor, MI. You will deliver and pick up packages, ensuring courteous service and adherence to FedEx standards. A valid license for the vehicle type is required, and a medical exam may be needed.

Position is Tue-Sat, approx 7:30 AM–1:00 PM, at FedEx location five days a week. EOE including veterans and individuals with disabilities.

Qualifications

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Pay Transparency

Pay: $23.16 / hour

Additional Details

PT Tues-Sat approx 0730 - 1300. The desired location for this position would be Ann Arbor, MI. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx location five days a week.
