Job summary

FedEx Logistics seeks a part-time Driver/Operator to deliver and pickup packages in Ann Arbor, MI. You will ensure shipments meet FedEx service standards and provide related customer service. Requires a high school diploma or GED and vehicle licensing. Lifting up to 50 lbs and FMCSA safety/compliance are required. Pay is $23.16 per hour.

Scheduled Tue–Sat approx 07:30–13:00; five days a week at the FedEx location. Equal Opportunity Employer with accommodations available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages above 50 lbs with equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance due to customer contact.
• Must meet FMCSA safety regulations and medical exam requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for traffic signs and directions.

Minimum Education

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
