Federal Express Corporation is seeking a Driver to operate company vehicles for efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and be licensed for the vehicle type. Responsibilities include checking shipments for service compliance and providing excellent customer service.
The role requires the ability to lift and maneuver packages, good communication skills, and meeting federal regulations. The position offers competitive pay ranging from $21.05 to $31.26 per hour.
Schedule: Tue-Fri 8:45am-2:45pm, Sat 7am-1pm.
Driver / operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.
High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations.
Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
Pay: $21.05-$31.26 / hour
