Federal Express Corporation in Texas seeks a driver/operator of company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages in a courteous, efficient manner, maintaining safety and service standards while interacting with customers in Lufkin.

Must have a high school diploma or GED and be licensed for the vehicle type; you will lift up to 50 lbs and be able to read and speak English sufficiently to handle traffic signs and directions. This is a full-time position with base pay of $22.10 per hour.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
