Federal Express Corporation is seeking a part-time courier to operate company vehicles and deliver or pick up packages while maintaining courteous customer service. The role requires a valid driver's license, high school diploma or GED, and adherence to FMCSA safety standards.
Typical shifts run Tue–Fri 05:30am–11:30am and Sat 7:00am–1:00pm. The position emphasizes safe driving, reliable attendance, and the ability to lift packages per policy.
Driver / operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.
Tuesday - Friday - 5:30am - 11:30am
Saturday - 7am - 1pm
High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
Minimum of 21 years of age, consistently lift 50 pounds, High School / GED Diploma, Valid Driver’s License consistently for the past two years. Must successfully complete a Federal Drug screen and background check.
Starting Pay: $21.05
