Job summary

FedEx Group is seeking a Driver to provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Responsibilities include checking shipments for service conformance and performing additional duties as assigned.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned, and be at least 21 years of age. The role requires good communication skills and the ability to lift weights of up to 50 lbs. Schedule is Monday-Friday from 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned.
• Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations.
• Medical exam required in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Minimum Education

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety‑sensitive position. Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Pay

$23.16 - $34.39 per hour. Monday-Friday 12:30pm-9:30pm.
