Job summary

A leading logistics company in Twin Falls, Idaho is seeking a Driver to ensure the efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. The ideal candidate must possess a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs. This position offers a pay rate of $21.05 per hour with a schedule of Monday to Friday from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The company is committed to providing a safe work environment and follows strict safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages.
• Check shipments for conformance to service features.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Driver / operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
