FedEx Group is seeking a Driver to efficiently deliver and pick up packages while ensuring customer service excellence. The role requires a high school diploma/GED and being licensed for the assigned vehicle type.
Responsibilities include checking shipments and performing other assigned duties. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and possess good communication skills. This full-time position operates overnight from 8:30 PM to 5:30 AM with a pay rate of $21.05 per hour.
Driver / operator of company vehicles provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick‑up of packages, checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service, delivers related customer service functions, and performs other duties as assigned.
High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non‑covered safety‑sensitive position. Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
