Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a full-time driver/operator to deliver and pick up packages in Michigan. You will ensure shipments meet FedEx service standards and perform related customer service duties.

A high school diploma/GED and a valid license for the vehicle are required. The position offers a Tuesday–Saturday schedule and includes benefits, with pay at $22.10 per hour and mandatory medical examination per regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with equipment or assistance.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must meet FMCSA Section 391 qualifications; medical exam required.
• Non-covered safety-sensitive position; FMCSA/FAA medical exam required.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
