Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a Full Time Driver/Operator in Michigan. Duties include courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages, ensuring conformance to FedEx service standards, and providing customer service.

Must have a high school diploma/GED and be licensed for the vehicle assigned. Additional requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs, FMCSA medical exam, 21+ years old, and proficient English reading and speaking.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required and must be licensed for the vehicle assigned.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages over 50 lbs with assistive equipment.
• Must meet FMCSA/FAA medical exam requirements for safety-sensitive position.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to read/speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and officials.

• Deliver and pick up packages using FedEx vehicles.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Pay Transparency

$23.16 per hour.

Additional Details

Full Time Monday-Friday (1:30pm-8:30pm)
