Job summary

U.S. Renal Care, Inc. in San Francisco is seeking a Courier to ensure timely delivery of supplies, receive shipments, and support inventory processes at acute sites.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and two years of driving experience, a valid state driver’s license, and a clean DMV record. Full-time employees receive medical, dental, vision, 401k with employer match, PTO and other benefits.

Responsibilities

• Deliver supplies to hospitals and centers promptly and check expiration dates.
• Handle supplies using proper transport safety and refrigeration techniques.

• Maintain courier vehicle through regular maintenance and keep it clean.
• Pickup intercompany mail and deliver to territory offices.
• Assist with trash removal in warehouse and hospital storage areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.

Overview

The Courier is responsible for working with the biomedical technician to ensure acute sites have what is needed for supply management and inventory processes. This position is also responsible for receiving, and delivering supplies in a timely, safe, and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Delivers supplies to hospitals and centers in a timely manner and checks for expiration dates
• Handles supplies carefully using proper transport safety and refrigeration techniques
• Receives incoming supplies
• Packs supplies for shipping
• Maintains courier vehicle through regular maintenance and repair; maintains appearance of courier vehicle through regular cleaning
• Picks up intercompany mail where applicable and delivers to territory offices
• Assists with trash removal in warehouse and hospital storage areas where applicable
• Maintains standards of cleanliness in assigned areas

Qualifications

Minimum Education & Experience:

• High School diploma; or G.E.D. certificate
• Two (2) years of driving experience

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to read, write, speak, understand and satisfactorily communicate in English
• Valid State Driver's License
• Clean Department of Motor Vehicles record
