Purple Mountain Solutions, Inc. supplies the vehicles, gas, and insurance. This position is also supported by 24/7 Dispatch!

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Courier Driver to join our team. As a Courier Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and packages to their designated locations. This is a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a variety of vehicles including box trucks, tractor-trailers, and refrigerated trailers
• Load and unload goods using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment as needed
• Plan and execute delivery routes to ensure on-time deliveries
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documentation
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Commercial driving experience preferred
• Ability to operate various types of delivery vehicles including box trucks, tractor-trailers, and refrigerated trailers
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
• Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading goods
• Familiarity with using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment for loading/unloading is a plus
