Job summary

IU Health in Bloomington is seeking a Medical Courier to cover the Bloomington area, Monday through Friday from 11:45 to 19:45. The role involves driving throughout the city and surrounding areas to ensure timely pickup and delivery of laboratory specimens, supplies and other items to and from the Hospital.

You will review specimen request information for accuracy, assist with sorting client reports, and keep a daily activity record of trips, destinations, times, and requests.

Qualifications

• HS graduate or GED equivalent.
• Valid Indiana Operator's license with good driving history.
• Understanding of Indiana traffic laws.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Strong customer service skills.
