Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, supervising a group of 8-13 students and fostering a structured, family-like environment to support academic, emotional, and social development.

The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with a future transition to a placed houseparent living with the same students. Benefits include salary, housing, and comprehensive coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple, legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to be certified to drive student home vans.
• Comfort leading devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.

Responsabilités

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
