Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents, living on campus and caring for a group of 8–13 students.

You will supervise daily routines, mentor students, supervise devotions, and coordinate activities, with a nine-on, three-off duty cycle, transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and couples married at least two years.

Qualifications

• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship for a group of students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and attending Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
