Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents to reside in on-campus homes and guide 8–13 students daily. The role blends caregiving, supervision, and mentorship with a focus on academic, emotional, and social growth.

The position begins with a nine-day on, three-day off cycle across different homes, and transitions to a stable, fixed group living arrangement. Comprehensive benefits and relocation support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
• On hire, support various student homes with a 9-on/3-off schedule, then transition to a placed houseparent role
• Live and work with the same group of students in their own home later on.
