Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, invites a married couple to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents. The role involves residing in on-campus student homes, guiding 8–13 students, and fostering a family-like environment to support academic, emotional, and social growth.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, schedule management, medication administration, driving to activities, leading devotions, and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Couples must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
