Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this unique role, couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8-13 students to foster academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines, administering medications, planning activities, leading devotions and Sunday Chapel, and budgeting within the home.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-spouse married couple; both spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff serve as role models.

Aufgaben

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and oversee student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental and recreational programs.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
